Day 7

A somewhat better day, punctuated by the unfortunateness of wet laundry (due to my misunderstanding of how the machines work, how to read them, and also not understanding that there's a laundromat just a block or two from here).  The weather was nice, though I didn't do too much walking.  The nice weather was more or less used to dry said laundry (hanging it up outside over the porch for about an hour or two, then spreading it out, hoping it'll be dry enough to wear.

I'm definitely not going to do it like that again.

Vojta found the website for the arcade, so it looks like I'll be going there tomorrow, after of course I get money exchanged.  That leads me to a somewhat related point - it's not like I've been spending a lot of money on food.  Rather, the average price of food per day is something around $15, a bit less than I expected.  A pleasant surprise.  Most of that money went into start-up costs, and I'll be able to be much more frugal from this time on (i.e. making 3 bento dishes last for 6 plus meals = the way to go) (also, a medium pizza, which cost about $19, lasting for 3 meals is also good).

Sleeping soon, after some heavy vocab review (and making sure that I didn't make any mistakes on the homework) (also somewhat of a review).

As always, I leave you with a picture.
The guys at the lunch table.  From left to right, that's Chieh from Singapore, Jay from Germany, and Vojtech from the Czech Republic.  We'll probably be doing this more often, now that ZigZag is done with its "vacation".
